Weekly R.E.P.O.R.T. TikTok 7/28

You might have forgotten this TikTok trend but I certainly haven't. I also take pride in having impeccable taste, frankly, it would be irresponsible not to share.

Celebrate the small things! Here’s what I have been reading, eating, playing, obsessing, recommending, and treating myself to.

Reading

The Defining Decade: Why Your Twenties Matter-And How to Make the Most of Them Now by Meg Jay PhD. As a twenty-something and a big advocate for therapy, this book has come at the perfect time. I highly recommend it, especially for anyone who has recently graduated college, moved somewhere new, or is experiencing any other major life changes. So far it has been super insightful.

Eating

Peaches and ricotta on sourdough bread, please try it if you haven’t, you are missing out! It’s the perfect time too, with peaches in season.

Playing

Charm by Clairo. “Juna” has been stuck in my head all week. I might pick up the vinyl.

Obsessing

I am currently obsessing over whoever is running Kamala Harris’s social media accounts. That clip from Fox News where Jessica Tarlov says “You don’t understand the essence of brat summer” will be studied in history classes decades from now.

Recommending

The Binchtopia podcast, I have been an avid listener for years now but Julia and Eliza get funnier and more topical every episode I swear.

Treating Myself

I bought a new Vitamin C serum this week and I am already seeing improvements in my skin. It’s from Mad Hippie, I did a lot of research about the best one on the market, found out that one was like $200, and then settled for this one instead, but so far so good! Clean ingredients and effective at brightening.

Remember to stay playful and curious. Life is about enjoyment, trying new things, and being present. Exploring new experiences, finding new favorite reads, and nourishing your body, all invite deeper fulfillment and growth. Make sure you are pursuing joy in whatever ways you can, big or small.
